Code of Conduct

Skopenow expects the highest standards of ethical conduct in all our endeavors. Users of Skopenow’s services (“User” or “you”) are required to always be ethical in every aspect of their use of the services. This Code of Conduct is incorporated into our Terms & Conditions, and all Users must comply with it.

1. Integrity

Users shall not engage in corruption, extortion, embezzlement, or bribery to obtain an unfair or improper advantage. Users shall abide by all applicable anti-corruption laws and regulations of the countries in which it operates, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and applicable international anti-corruption laws and conventions.

2. Conflicts of Interest

Users shall ensure that they do not create or encourage conflicts of interest. Fundamentally, Users must not offer any gift or invitation of substantial value to Talent Rover employees.

3. Protection of Intellectual Property

Users shall respect intellectual property rights and safeguard user information. Users shall manage technology and know-how in a manner that protects intellectual property rights.  Intellectual property includes trademarks, trade names, brands, designs, logos, copyrights, inventions, patents, and trade secrets. Users are not permitted to use intellectual property without the authorization of its owner.

4. Corrective Action Process

Users shall maintain and implement procedures for timely correction of any deficiencies or violations identified by an internal or external audit, assessment, inspection, investigation, or review.

5. Disclosure of Information

Users shall accurately record information regarding their business activities, labor, health and safety, and environmental practices and shall disclose such information, without falsification or misrepresentation, to all appropriate parties.

6. Fair Business Standards

In addition to the above, the following are PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES when using Skopenow’s services (the “Services”):

  1. You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than that for which we make the Services available. The Services may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by Skopenow.
  2. As a User of the Services, you agree not to:
    1. Use any information obtained from the Services in order to harass, abuse, stalk, blackmail, or harm another person.
    2. Use the Services in a manner inconsistent with any applicable laws or regulations.
    3. Use the Services to make decisions about consumer credit, employment, or tenant screening.
    4. Upload or transmit (or attempt to upload or to transmit) viruses, Trojan horses, or other material, including excessive use of capital letters and spamming (continuous posting of repetitive text), that interferes with any party’s uninterrupted use and enjoyment of the Site or modifies, impairs, disrupts, alters, or interferes with the use, features, functions, operation, or maintenance of the Site.
    5. Delete the copyright or other proprietary rights notice from any content obtained through the Services.
    6. Attempt to impersonate another User or person or use the username of another User.
    7. Upload or transmit (or attempt to upload or to transmit) any material that acts as a passive or active information collection or transmission mechanism, including without limitation, clear graphics interchange formats (“gifs”), 1×1 pixels, web bugs, cookies, or other similar devices (sometimes referred to as “spyware” or “passive collection mechanisms” or “pcms”).
    8. Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Services or the networks or services connected to the Services.
    9. Harass, annoy, intimidate, or threaten any of our employees or agents engaged in providing any portion of the Services to you.
    10. Attempt to bypass any measures of the Site designed to prevent or restrict access to the Services, or any portion of the Services.
    11. Copy or adapt the Services’ software, including but not limited to Flash, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, or other code.
    12. Except as permitted by applicable law, decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any of the software comprising or in any way making up a part of the Services.
    13. Except as may be the result of standard search engine or Internet browser usage, use, launch, develop, or distribute any automated system, including without limitation, any spider, robot, cheat utility, scraper, or offline reader that accesses the Services, or using or launching any unauthorized script or other software.
  3. Additionally, the Services may not be used for any of the following: The unauthorized surveillance of individuals without legal justification, stalking, harassment, or doxxing (e.g., exposing private info for intimidation; discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or health; accessing minors’ data without lawful authority; political targeting or voter manipulation; bypassing privacy settings (e.g., scraping private accounts)); identifying, targeting, or collecting information about an individual in their exercise of protest, demonstration, or other expressive conduct; credential stuffing or account takeover; monitoring employees without consent or policy compliance; using outputs in legal matters without human review or chain of custody; use by foreign adversaries of the United States or sanctioned entities; weaponization for physical harm (e.g., targeting for abduction or violence); training AI/ML models without permission; gaining unauthorized access to, or acquisition of data contained in, any systems, accounts, platforms, or other electronic services or media

7. CSAM

Skopenow is committed to fighting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) online and the use of its Services to create, store or distribute this material is strictly prohibited. Skopenow adheres to and follows all laws requiring it to remove and report CSAM.  If Skopenow gains actual knowledge of CSAM on our platforms, we shall remove and/or report it to the appropriate law enforcement authority and make a report to the  National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).  If a user finds a link, website, or any content that is CSAM in the Services, in addition to reporting it to Skopenow, user agrees to report it to law enforcement, NCMEC, or an appropriate organization in its locale.  For more information, please refer to Skopenow's Terms of Service.
